After nearly 25 years as a fundraiser, advisor, strategist, storyteller, presenter, and client relationship manager for nationally recognized creative agencies, colleges and universities, and non-profits, I founded Terranova Advising ​in 2020 for three reasons:

Founder Profile

I'm Mark Terranova, and I am the Founder and Principal of Terranova Advising and Productions, LLC.  After serving as a frontline fundraiser for higher education and non-profit institutions, I joined the creative and production agency world a decade ago to translate those skills to a broader audience as a strategist, lead storyteller, creative consultant, event production consultant, and campaign counsel.

I'm passionate about storytelling and have had the chance to help tell the stories of many of your peer institutions, including Yale, MIT, Carnegie Mellon, American University, UC Santa Cruz and UC Irvine; non-profit institutions such as Grant Us Hope and the Cooperative for Education; and healthcare organizations, including PatientPoint and the PatientPoint Foundation.

I also enjoy presenting sessions and trainings on storytelling, engagement, and campaigns to and with client partners at conferences across the country, including CASE, Academic Impressions, Ivy Plus, the Association for Donor Relations Professionals, and The Alternative Board.
